Amausi Airport: A major accident has been averted on Sunday (January 29) at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Amausi Airport located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Actually, the flight of Air Asia going from Lucknow to Kolkata collided with the bird. After this, the pilot made an emergency landing of the aircraft with great understanding.
It is being told that as soon as the aircraft proceeded on the runway for the Lucknow-Kolkata flight of Air Asia, the bird collided with its second engine. In such a situation, the pilot stopped the aircraft by applying emergency brake with understanding. The pilot immediately informed the air traffic control about this.
Passengers were dropped at Lucknow airport. At present, arrangements are being made to send the passengers by another aircraft. According to the information, there were 180 passengers in the plane. The airline made the passengers sit in the premises and made them tea and breakfast and assured to send them by another plane, after which the passengers were relieved. Some passengers aboard the plane have also shared videos and photos of the accident on social media.
At the same time, due to the repair and maintenance of the airport, neither takeoff nor landing will be done from Amausi airport in Lucknow from 9.30 am to 6 am. Recently, the airport administration has issued an advisory. According to the order, there will be no landing at night for the next six months. This system will be applicable from 23 February to 11 July next month.
