For this, your total expenditure will come close to Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand. Out of this, you will get about half the amount as subsidy.

Bamboo is worth selling in 4 years. Till then they have to be looked after. However, once prepared, the bamboo plant continues to grow for these 40 years. You do not need to plant again. Some other light farming can also be done in between the bamboo plants. There are total 136 types of bamboo. Out of these, you have to decide which bamboo will be right for you to grow according to the demand of the market. In India, soil and climate are most favorable for bamboo cultivation in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, Nagaland, Tripura, Orissa, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra. However, bamboo is grown in almost all the states of the country including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
