You must have heard from many people that my sleep suddenly opens at two o’clock in the night. Somebody wakes up at five in the morning. There are many reasons behind this. During the night, different organs inside our body like gall bladder, liver, large intestine etc. are at their work. There is a fixed time for their work. If their work time and your sleep time match, then it is a kind of alarm. That’s why you should understand the relation of your body parts with sleep, this will give many benefits to your health.
We always think that our mental tension or the burden of something on the heart either does not let us sleep or wakes us up suddenly in the night. But if you ever want to understand the other reasons for breaking your sleep, then first of all understand the pattern of sudden sleep breaking, at what time your sleep breaks, with that time you can test the health of other parts of your body like this.
Generally, most people have a time to sleep. Michael Perlis, director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at the University of Pennsylvania, told Time.com that if you wake up soon after falling asleep, it could be due to tension, stress or anxiety. Your body is struggling with that stress even in a subconscious state.
What is the solution: If sleep is disturbed due to anxiety or stress, then you should reduce screen use before sleeping at night. Also, include meditation, yoga in the routine of the day. Take the support of a book while sleeping at night. If there is no change after improving the routine, then you should take the advice of a professional.
According to the Chinese body clock, a person’s cheek bladder is active during these hours at night. Whatever fat you have taken during the day, it breaks it at night. If you wake up during these hours i.e. between 11 pm and 1 am, it can also be a sign to check what you are eating before sleeping. It needs to be reviewed or you need to have your dinner earlier i.e. in the evening itself.
According to the Chinese body clock, during these hours, your liver works to refresh itself. This means that if you wake up during this time, then it may be a sign that your liver has to do a lot. The only way out is to change your diet at night. Apart from this, it is also necessary to reduce the consumption of alcohol late at night.
Dr. Damian Stevens, a professor of sleep and pulmonary disease at the University of Kansas Hospital, supports this, saying that drinking alcohol late at night is bad for your sleep cycle. It depends on your metabolism that alcohol will leave your system after few hours. But if sleep opens during this time also, then you have to be cautious about alcohol use.
Sleep breaks between 3 to 5 in the morning
This is the time when the meridian servicing your lungs is at work. It strengthens the lungs, filling them with energy for the day ahead. Waking up and coughing during this time can be a sign that you need to eat healthy food or breathe clean air.
What is the solution
Walk at any time of the day. However, Dr. Nerina Ramlakhan recommends trying to avoid any vigorous activity three hours before bedtime, as it releases stress hormones in the body.

It’s time to cleanse your colon. Since this organ is responsible for cleansing the body by flushing out toxic waste from our digestive system, sudden awakenings during this time can be a sign of weakness in this area. If you wake up at this time in the morning after six to seven hours of sleep, then it is normal. But if this happens despite sleeping late, then it is a sign that you are probably not drinking enough water throughout the day. Dr. Nerina Ramlakhan says that if we want to sleep better every night, we should increase body hydration by drinking two liters of water daily.
