There are discussions of bulldozers everywhere in the country at this time. Tales of bulldozers from UP to MP have become a topic of discussion among people these days. Somewhere encroachment is being made free by using bulldozers on the land occupied by musclemen, and somewhere efforts are being made to teach a lesson to criminals/anti-social elements by such action. The latest incident is from Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, where to teach a lesson to an accused, women officers have set an example by taking the initiative to run a bulldozer. This case is related to Raneh area of Damoh district. There was an incident of gangrape with a minor here in the past. The police have already put the three accused in the incident behind the bars while one absconding accused was being searched.
On Thursday, the absconding accused Kaushal Kishore Choubey was also arrested by the police. Bulldozers were also fired at the possessions of the accused to give a message to the society to take a tough stand against the criminals. The special thing is that women police officers took command of bulldozers. After taking permission from the District Collector, the administration decided to run bulldozers on the house and agricultural land occupied by accused Kaushal Kishore Choubey. For this, women officers of different police stations of the district were called to Raneh and then bulldozers were run on the encroachment. Whoever saw the action in this unique case of its kind, was astonished. Land worth about Rs 75 lakh has been made encroachment free by running a bulldozer on the house and land occupied by the accused.
According to Prashita Kurmi, the woman police officer who is leading this campaign, this will send a big message to the society and fear will spread among the criminals. He said that there was an incident in which a minor was raped by four people. There was an incident of gangrape in which three accused were arrested earlier. One of the accused was arrested and presented in the court today. Kaushal Kishore Choubey had encroached on the government land. Today, this encroachment has been removed by women employees handling this command. This was an incident of shame to the society. Hata Tehsildar Rohit Rajput said that we have removed the encroachment of Kaushal Kishore Choubey in village Raneh, this encroachment was done by building a house and through wire fencing. This action has been taken as per the orders of the Collector. The estimated cost of the encroachment that has been removed is around Rs 75 lakh.
