Sugar works to increase your stress and anxiety. Foods like cakes, pastries increase your blood sugar level. Due to which your energy keeps on going up and down. So when your blood sugar crashes, your mood gets worse and stress levels can rise.
2. Artificial Sweetener
Artificial sweeteners are often used as a substitute for sugar. But several studies indicate that the use of NNS also works to increase inflammation and stress in our body. Artificial sweeteners increase inflammation, oxidative stress in the gut.
3. Caffeine
Consuming caffeine under stress also works to increase your stress level. Excessive caffeine stimulates the nervous system in your body, caffeine can also cause an increase in blood pressure and heart rate, which in turn causes increased tension.
4. Carbs
Carbs increase inflammation and flood the body with excess sugar, which in turn leads to stress and mood swings.
5. Fried Foods
