A female employee of the Mumbai Traffic Police was seen riding a scooter without a helmet. The woman sitting behind the scooter was also in uniform. Both were not wearing helmets. After seeing the photo of two uniformed women policemen that went viral on social media, a user asked if they do not care about the law! Mumbai Police officials have assured strict punishment against the accused policemen as soon as the uproar started over this picture.

According to media reports, Mumbai resident Rahul Barman, while crossing the national highway in Dadar, saw a scooter without a helmet along with a woman in uniform sitting behind the driver, both of whom were not wearing helmets. Rahul, an engineering student, posted the picture on his Twitter handle on Saturday and it went viral. Writing the number of the scooter along with the photo, Rahul commented, “What if we roam like this? Isn’t this a traffic law violation?” Tagged as well.

At the time of writing this picture, more than 75,000 people have seen it. Many of them have made various comments about those who break the law. One person wrote, “If we travel without a helmet, the fine amount is sent to our mobile phone within a few hours.”

However, seeing the women police without helmets, the officers of Mumbai Police are in a panic. He directly asked Rahul on Twitter where the picture was taken. Rahul’s short reply was, “Eastern Express Highway in Dadar.” Mumbai Police has also assured that strict action will be taken against women police personnel in Matunga traffic area.
